Petre Tsiskarishvili: relations were damaged so much and the mask was removed so much that it is impossible to restore relations with partners - the conclusion of the Helsinki Commission is another critical conclusion

The conclusion of the Helsinki Commission is another critical conclusion and another proof for those people whom Kobakhidze and the "Georgian Dream" government are trying to mislead - they have damaged relations so much and removed the mask to such an extent that it is impossible to restore these relations [with partners], - about this "Unity - General Secretary of the National Movement, Petre tsiskarishvili, told journalists about the Helsinki Commission's conclusion.

According to him, under the conditions of the "Georgian Dream", even the dream of joining the European Union will no longer be possible, and the broken bridge that exists with the United States cannot be restored."The conclusion of the Helsinki Commission is another critical conclusion and another proof for those people whom Kobakhidze and the "Georgian Dream" authorities are trying to mislead. They tell the people: "As soon as the war is over, as soon as we win the elections, relations with the West will begin on a new page, the practically broken bridge and strained, deteriorating relations that we have with our strategic partners will be reset." In reality, this cannot happen in the "dream" conditions. They damaged the relations so much and took off the mask so much, they showed our Western partners that they have absolutely different political and foreign values and aspirations than the Georgian people, that the restoration of these relations is unimaginable and it simply will not work. If "GD" remains in power, we will no longer have visa-free access to the European Union. Of course, the dream of joining the European Union will no longer be possible, and the broken bridge that exists with the United States cannot be rebuilt. This will be the sad reality that we will get if the "dream" managed to maintain the government through some mechanisms, falsification, violence. But that's why, I'm sure, tomorrow there will be hundreds of thousands of our fellow citizens in the center of Tbilisi, who will protest against this regime and one week before the elections, they will tell all of Georgia and the Western partners what they have to say. Then, on October 26, he will bring this case to the end", said Petre Tsiskarishvili.

In addition, Tsiskarishvili answered the question regarding the presentation of the technical government. According to him, there is no obligation to do so before the elections."It is not written in the charter that there is some obligation before the elections, and the government must be named before the elections. The Charter sets out many important reforms that we remain committed to and that we intend to implement under any configuration of government. I am sure that when the opposition wins and the "Unity National Movement" takes the first place, a government will be formed whose priorities - withdrawal of the "Russian law", justice reform, return to the path of joining the European Union and the opening of negotiations with Brussels will be the main task and goal. Accordingly, the formation of the government, in parliamentary republics like ours, takes place after the people have made a decision, the electorate has had its say, and the parties have redistributed parliamentary mandates. Then, according to this, the government is formed, and all political, legal and constitutional logic points to this," said Petre Tsiskarishvili.
