According to Giorgi Kandelaki, project manager of the "Soviet Past Research Laboratory", the researcher of the organization, Badri Okujava, was attacked.
As Kandelaki told "InterpressNews", the attack took place in Vake, at the intersection of Machavariani and Barnovi streets.
According to him, the incident has already been addressed to the law enforcement officers.
Kandelaki connects the incident with a political motive.
"Unknown persons attacked. About 7-10 people. They painted, beat and left. At the same time, Badri is also an activist, and there is no doubt that he is motivated by politics," said Kandelaki.
