I think the football players have made a big mistake when they take part in the political clip of the pro-Russian force, Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of "Unity - National Movement", told journalists about this.

According to him, the football players took part in the clip of the political group that opposes Georgia's joining the European Union.

"I have great respect for football players, especially the players of the Georgian national team, and I think they have made a big mistake when they participate in a political clip of a pro-Russian force. They are so popular in Georgia with the European Championship, to which we want to take all of Georgia. After all, they played at the European Championship, we want to be members of the European Union, and a political group opposes it and [participated] in its clip. In my opinion, they have made a big mistake," said Vashadze.

Regarding the question about the bullying of football players, Vashadze says that "society has the right to express its opinion".

"Go out and see the banners of "Georgian Dream". If they hung me on those banners, what greater pressure could be exerted by the political forces? Do you think that my son is happy when he walks around and looks at these banners? Can the political force that does this ask something?" - Vashadze said.
