It is a fact and all signs show that there is a group preparing for a coup. There can be no revolution and it cannot be romanticized, - said the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia at a briefing held at the party's office.

According to Papuashvili, they are preparing a pretext for the coup by using non-governmental organizations, which, like in 2020, should prepare incorrect reports.

"They are preparing for a coup, which they planned in 2020 and did not succeed then. For this coup they are preparing a pretext for the elections, using the very NGOs that run the elections and are involved in the election campaign, to make fake reports, as they did in 2020 with the spread of the fake PVT, in order to create a pretext for the coup. They are actually preparing for this. So, our people should be vigilant and the main antidote for such non-Georgian forces is to come to the elections and convincingly defeat these non-Georgian forces," Papuashvili said.
