Anita Jojua, chairperson of the "Unity - National Movement" faction of the Poti City Council, has accused the "Georgian Dream" party of using a new method of election fraud in Poti by including healthy individuals on the list of those requiring transportation boxes for voting.
Jojua claims that the ruling party is attempting to manipulate the voting process by falsely adding healthy citizens to the list of those eligible to vote using transfer boxes, which are typically reserved for people with health issues or mobility problems. She described this as a criminal offense and expressed concerns that these individuals may be bribed or coerced into voting for "Georgian Dream."
Jojua warned the Chairman of the Poti District Commission not to participate in what she described as illegal activities, noting that her party has documented evidence of these actions. "Georgian Dream, accustomed to defeat in Poti, is doing everything possible to secure more votes. This new falsification method has been discovered, and we have verified the list of people who are falsely added to the transfer box registry," Jojua stated.
She assured that her party would respond to these actions in due time, emphasizing that all irregularities have been recorded and reported.
