Over the past 30 years, the Georgian people have gained great experience and wisdom. During these 4 years, in all the difficult moments, you stood by us and that is what allowed us to overcome all the difficulties and protect the national interests of Georgia to the end, - this is how the mayor of the capital, the general secretary of "Georgian Dream" Kakha Kaladze addressed the Georgian voters a few hours before the elections.
As Kaladze noted in his video address, the continuation of the started case requires protection and maintenance of peace.
"We welcome our fellow citizens. Welcome to our compatriots living abroad. Welcome to representatives of all generations. We welcome the young people for whom we want to create a bright future for our country.
The last 4 years have been full of many difficulties for our country. However, despite the heaviest pressure, we were able to maintain peace for Georgia and despite the greatest opposition, we won the status of a candidate for the EU membership.
All this was not easy. Everything cost us a lot of energy and nerves, however, our team - "Georgian Dream" showed dignity and not only avoided the fatal danger of Georgia, but also brought the country forward.
Of course, the role of the government in protecting the interests of the state is crucial. However, it must be said that we would not have been able to do all this without the support of you, the Georgian people. Over the past 30 years, the Georgian people have gained great experience and wisdom. During these 4 years, in all difficult moments, you stood by us, and that is what allowed us to overcome all difficulties and protect the national interests of Georgia to the end.
To continue the work started, it is necessary to protect and maintain peace. I am sure that tomorrow, on October 26, the Georgian people and "Georgian Dream" will stand together exactly as we fought together for the past 4 years for our country, peace, dignity and prosperity.
The choice has never been so easy. On one side there is slavish obedience, hatred and patriotism, and on the other side peace, freedom, love and patriotism. We must build a bright, European future of a free and united Georgia precisely by loving each other and our motherland.
"Tomorrow we have to come out, more than a million Georgians, in order to finally save our country and create a solid foundation for the development of Georgia," Kaladze said.
