Giorgi Kalandarishvili: The functioning of electronic technologies was confirmed by an international auditing company

According to the chairman of the Central Election Commission, Giorgi Kalandarishvili, the information spread about the duplication of the unified lists of voters is baseless.

As he said at today's briefing, the proper functioning of electronic technologies was confirmed by the international auditing company.

"The smooth operation of electronic technologies was confirmed by an international auditing company. We have officially submitted the results of the first and second phase audits, which are clearly confirmed and will be publicly available to all involved parties as soon as the documents are translated, including the manipulatively raised issue that there was duplication of lists in the unified voter lists, especially in the verification part. This is as unfounded as at least the fact that under paper trail conditions, while the lists were fully auditable, voter lists printed from all verification machines were available to all concerned. Today, the American company confirmed this once again, pointing out that the technologies corresponded to local legislation and international good practices and standards," said Giorgi Kalandarishvili.

For information, according to the information spread in the media, citizens were able to participate in voting at various polling stations throughout the country several times. According to available information, they had several identity documents.
