Independent MP Kakha Okriashvili issues a statement, which "InterpressNews" always offers:

"I want to thank the brave people who came to the elections and voted according to their inner convictions despite unprecedented intimidation.

The results announced by the CEC do not reflect the political mood of the Georgian people. The "Edison Research" exit poll, which I fully trust, as it provided the closest and most accurate data in relation to the official result in the previous elections, in total gave the opposition 52%, and number 41 - 41%. "Dream" actually took that 41% as a result of a 200 GEL bribe and then controlling the bribed people. It was also possible to control the will of the people by flipping over the very thin paper of the ballot, and a circle colored with a marker was clearly visible, according to which it was very easy to see which voter voted for which party.

No one disputes that the elections were rigged! What can be a fair way out of this situation? Of course, there are many options, and we will offer you one of them: in those non-Georgian-speaking districts, where the falsification had a mass character and "Dream" was written by more than 70%, as well as in the entire Sachkheri district, the election results should be annulled. Based on the results of the remaining precincts, a temporary parliament will be formed, with a temporary technical government, which will prepare and ensure the holding of new parliamentary elections within 6 months.

Today is October 28. I am going to a peaceful demonstration, which, in my opinion, will last 2-3 hours in total and which is of great importance in order to show everyone that we do not tolerate violence!" - says Kakha Okriashvili.
