Georgians, like all Europeans, should be masters of their own destiny, said the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

According to her, the Georgian people have the right to know what happened on the weekend.

"For many years, the Georgian people have been striving for democracy and fighting for it. They have the right to know what happened this weekend and they have the right to see that election violations are investigated quickly, transparently and independently. Georgians, like all Europeans, should be masters of their own destiny," said Ursula von der Leyen.
