China expresses its readiness to cooperate with Georgia in order to further strengthen bilateral relations, Lin Jian, the representative of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a press conference in Beijing.

According to the information of the Georgian government administration, Lin Jian noted that China always respects the choice of the Georgian people.

"China notes that the parliamentary elections of Georgia were held smoothly. China always respects the choice of the Georgian people and sincerely hopes for the stability and prosperity of Georgia. We are ready to work together with Georgia in the direction of development of bilateral relations", said Lin Jian.
