The assumptions of some Georgian politicians, as if Georgia is making progress on its path to the European Union, have no relation to reality. Estonian Ambassador to Georgia, Marge Mardisalu-Kahar, writes about this on her own page of X.

"The assumptions of some Georgian politicians, as if Georgia is making progress on its path to the European Union, have no connection with reality. Georgia's accession to the European Union was frozen due to Georgia's democratic backsliding. This was the clear message of yesterday's EU enlargement report," Mardisalu-Kahar wrote.
