Tina Khidasheli: The government of Georgia is currently illegitimate for all our partners because they did not congratulate and acknowledge the results of the elections

The government of Georgia is currently illegitimate for all our partners because they did not congratulate and acknowledge the results of the elections, Tina Khidasheli, the leader of "Civil Idea", said on the "PalitraNews" program "360 degrees".

According to Tina Khidasheli, the conclusions of all international organizations state that the elections were neither free nor fair.

"The international community said two things, this phrase is in the conclusions of all organizations, the elections were neither free nor fair. This is written in all the conclusions, and secondly, no one, no democratic state, has congratulated or acknowledged the results of the elections.

The government of Georgia is currently illegitimate for all our partners because they did not congratulate and acknowledge the election results. All international observation missions from the Western world wrote in their summary document that these elections were neither free nor fair.

This is what we can get from international organizations, beyond that there are already penalties, after the process is over. The process is not over yet. So far there is no summary protocol, so far the discussions in the courts have not started", said Tina Khidasheli.

When asked whether it is impossible for any opposition party to show a different approach to the issue of not entering the parliament, Tina Khidasheli states that nothing is excluded, although such a party would commit political suicide.

"I don't exclude anything at all when there are many players at the table. How can you exclude something, but if someone commits political suicide in Georgia, it is his problem.

Any opposition party that enters this game today will be engaged in the usual political suicide. I understand that Gakharia is taking a pose now, it is not the first time from him and I am not surprised at all. That's his job, he seems to know something that no one else does.

If Gakharia says something like that, he will join the action, if it is his voter's order, this is called in Georgian, he will wait, if there are many people, then he will come, if there are not, he will not take risks and will not take responsibility. In Georgia, such actions are sometimes called its name, but I will refrain from this now", said Tina Khidasheli.
