According to the information of Nona Qurdovanidze, the chairwoman of the Association of Young Lawyers of Georgia, the Tetritskaro District Court accepted the petition of GYLA.
"The only court approved the request of GYLA to recall the ballots, and what is essential for this case was confirmed," Qurdovanidze wrote on Facebook.
In the Tetritskaro court, GYLA's lawsuit on the issue of vote secrecy is being considered.
According to GYLA, within the current process, the judge, based on GYLA's petition, randomly selected the ballots of 3-3 districts in Tsalki and Tetritskaro districts, where it was confirmed that there are traces of a marker on the back of the ballots.
"The judge also requested a vote counting machine, a ballot, a marker and a framed envelope. During the court session, a technical inspection was conducted, during which it was established that when the ballots are placed in the machine, the choice made on the back side is visible," said the information of GYLA.
