Greta Thunberg: It's an outrageous, authoritarian development that's happening in Georgia right now - I'm here to show support for citizens who are coming forward to defend their fundamental rights

I am here to express my support to all activists and citizens who come out to protect their fundamental rights, - Swedish activist Greta Thunberg told "InterpressNews" at the rally in Tbilisi.

According to her, what is happening in Georgia now is "outrageous".

"I am here to express my support and solidarity to all activists and citizens who are coming forward to defend their fundamental rights such as freedom, justice and democracy. This is an outrageous development, an authoritarian development that is happening in Georgia now, and I have great respect for the people who again and again fill the streets and use the right to demonstrate to express their dissatisfaction with the current situation, despite the oppression," said Greta Thunberg.
