If we had published the results of the parallel counting, it might have been a basis for legitimizing the numbers for which we cannot take responsibility, - said the director of "Fair Elections", Nino Dolidze, thus answering the question, "Why the results of the parallel counting are not published by Fair Elections".
As Nino Dolidze said in "PolitraNews" program "Political Space", the CEC summed up the protocols well, "it had no problem in mathematics", but before the compilation of the summary protocols, too many violations were observed in the precincts, which is why the protocols and the results of the parallel counting cannot express the will of the Georgian people.
"After taking the minutes, the CEC had no problems in summarizing, in mathematics, but there were too many serious violations both on the day of the elections and in the pre-election period, these are related to each other. The confiscation of identities is related to carousel and proxy voting. Against the background of these violations, it [the results of parallel counting] cannot express the will of the Georgian people. The CEC summed it up well, there was no problem in mathematics, but what happened at the precincts before the protocols, this also concerns the election administration, the summation does not mean that the election administration worked well in these elections. If we had published the results of the parallel counting, it might have been a basis for legitimizing the numbers for which we cannot take responsibility, in the light of the violations that have occurred. If I put these numbers, i.e. I trust these numbers, and in the light of these violations, which I saw, stuffing of ballots, multiple voting, carousel, voting for someone else, I cannot say that these results, which have been published by the CEC, would definitely happen to the Georgian people," said Nino Dolidze.
