According to Prosecutor Ketevan Chachava, within the framework of the investigation started in the Prosecutor's Office, all those persons who have information regarding the possible fraud of the elections will be interviewed or interrogated.
As she told the journalists, the magistrate interviewed the representative of the observation mission "My Voice", Londa Toloraia, in front of the judges today.
According to Chachava, when talking about the possible falsification of the elections, Toloraia mainly limited herself to the information reported in the media and stated that he did not directly attend this process.
"As you know, the General Prosecutor's Office has started an investigation regarding the possible falsification of the parliamentary elections. Various opinions related to election fraud and various violations were spread on the mentioned case through various mass media, both from the side of political party representatives and from the side of non-governmental organizations. As part of the investigation started in the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia, all those persons who possess information related to election fraud will be interviewed or interrogated in the investigative body. We ask them to provide concrete evidence. Investigative actions will be planned, an objective, complete and transparent investigation will be conducted. As for the witness questioned at today's court session, based on the information disseminated by the observation mission "My Voice", she was summoned to the magistrate judge, although the testimony of the witness was mainly based on the briefings issued by them and the circumstances indicated in the complaints, no specific details were given. Various evidences were not presented at today's session, although these evidences will be requested from the relevant authorities. Concerns that certain investigative actions will not be taken are unfounded. Certainly, all necessary investigative actions will be carried out in order to establish the objective truth in the case," the prosecutor said.
