GYLA: The Court of Appeal of Kutaisi did not satisfy the request of GYLA, which was related to the mass violation of the secrecy of the vote at the elections

The panel of judges of the Court of Appeal of Kutaisi did not satisfy the lawsuits of non-governmental organizations.

The head of the collegium announced the decision recently.

In particular, the panel recognized the invalidity of the districts throughout Western Georgia, the responsibility of the commission members and left the decision of the city and district courts unchanged.

A total of 20 lawsuits by "GYLA" and the coalition "My Voice" were discussed in the Court of Appeal for two days.

"The Court of Appeal of Kutaisi did not satisfy the request of GYLA, which was related to the massive violation of the secrecy of the vote at the elections.

Despite the evidence presented, the court did not protect the constitutional right of the voters," said the statement released by GYLA.
