In the Court of Appeal, the consideration of lawsuits related to the violation of secrecy of votes during the parliamentary elections continues.
As Nona Qurdovanidze, head of the "Young Lawyers' Association of Georgia" told "InterpressNews", the lawsuits were discussed throughout the night. According to her, GYLA made several motions to postpone the case, divide it, remove the judges, but it was not satisfied.
However, as the head of GYLA explains, the court has not yet moved to the stage of examining the evidence.
"The discussion went on throughout the night. There were several technical breaks. Now the process is at the stage of explanations", Qurdovanidze noted.
For information, the review of lawsuits related to the violation of secrecy of votes in the Court of Appeal began yesterday. The Court of Appeal consolidated the GYLA and "My Voice" coalition 12 cases.
