The Tbilisi Court of Appeal did not satisfy GYLA's request regarding the annulment of the results of 1293 election precincts due to the violation of vote secrecy

According to the information of the "Georgia Young Lawyers Association", the Tbilisi Court of Appeal did not satisfy the GYLA's request regarding the annulment of the results of 1293 election precincts.

As stated in the statement released by GYLA, the court did not protect the voter's constitutional right, which implies the secrecy of the vote.

"As a result of almost 24-hour discussion, the Tbilisi Court of Appeals did not satisfy the request of GYLA, due to the fact of massive violation of the secrecy of the vote, it invalidated all 1293 technological districts of Eastern Georgia.

Despite the evidence we presented, the court did not uphold the constitutional right of voters.

We remind you that the Kutaisi Court of Appeal made the same decision regarding the technological districts of Western Georgia", - it is stated in the information distributed by GYLA.
