Opposition members of the CEC meet with representatives of international observation missions.
As Giorgi Sioridze, the representative of "Strong Georgia" in the CEC, pointed out, until now the CEC had an isolationist attitude towards the opposition members and did not allow international missions to provide comprehensive information.
"The opposition members of the CEC meet with the most important international observation missions in Georgia, including the representatives of the OSCE/ODIHR, the International Republican Institute, the National Democratic Institute and the NMO. It was our initiative, based on the fact that the CEC has had an isolationist policy towards opposition members for a long time, they practically never gave us the opportunity, when international missions came to the agency, to show them the real picture. We have, of course, provided them with this information along our personal and party lines, but now that two weeks have passed since the election, we felt it necessary to provide them with all the information that has come to light these days, the findings and conclusions, so that they can make their assessments and final decisions. The reports should fully reflect the information about the violations and hijacked elections that took place in Georgia. The problem of secrecy is first of all, which no one disputes, and also the individual violations that are abundantly documented, as well as the schemes related to the technological carousel, which is the main demand, namely that the signed checks of voter verification be opened - this is what the parties are asking for, this is what they are asking for. Important and real monitoring organizations as well. Based on the fact that in all technological precincts, in 2263 precincts, where 90% of the voters are concentrated, secrecy was undoubtedly violated, this is the basis for recognizing the elections as illegitimate," said Sioridze.
The representative of "Girchi" in the CEC, Boris Solomonia, spoke about the violations observed during the elections for foreign observers.
"We had a meeting with foreign representatives and observers. We talked about the violations we noticed during the elections, the main issue being that secrecy was clearly violated. Accordingly, we provided this information once again, as well as video material, which showed that before the elections, the "guidelines" were delivered to the voters, and after that, how the new "guidelines" were recorded. We reported all this to the foreign observer. As for their representations, this is already beyond our competence, it will be their decision, and in about two months we will know how they will fully evaluate this process," said Boris Solomonia.
