Nika Melia: People need a strong document - are we going to enter there or not?! And when the specific day comes, we believe that we will stand together and say with the Georgian people that no one will enter the parliament

[People] need a solid document - are we going to go in there or not?! And when the specific day comes, I believe, we believe that we will all stand together and say together with the Georgian people that no one will enter the parliament in which we have nothing to do. This is important for us in the near future, - one of the leaders of the "Coalition for Change", Nika Melia, said during a speech at the rally on Heroes' Square.

According to him, the developed world does not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections, as well as a large part of the population inside the country.

He also spoke about the need to conduct an international investigation regarding the election results.

"As more time passes, it is natural that the government will somehow try to legitimize this parliament, which is doomed in itself, and their efforts will be futile. Our task will be, on the contrary, to delegitimize it by establishing our clear, unwavering and firm position on the streets of Tbilisi and not only Tbilisi, this is the strongest and most correct solution. The fight to the end, the fight to victory, which will lead to new elections, elections held in a free and fair environment", said Melia.

According to him, the international community does not recognize the election results.

"However, it is no less important that this Parliament cannot be the Parliament of Georgia and there, even in rigged elections, the oppositionist who won a mandate does not enter and cannot enter. This is more important than important. No one should enter this parliament, which does not express our interest, the interest of the people. There is a lot of talk about various issues, but the Georgian people like to be specific, especially since we, the opposition, due to various actions, it is impossible not to present ourselves in the best form in front of them, so they need a solid document - are we going to enter there or not?! And when the specific day comes, I believe, we believe that we will all stand together and say together with the Georgian people that no one will enter. In that parliament, in which we have nothing to do. This is important for us in the near term, we must do it", said Melia.
