Polish parliamentarian: I was here with President Kaczynski when Tbilisi was in danger, I am here now because Tbilisi is under Russian threat again

I stood in this city when this city was under Russian threat. I am here now because Tbilisi is still under Russian threat. This threat may not be so pronounced, there are no tanks, but the country is in danger because of Russian propaganda, because of Russian-style politics, said Michał Kamiński, a member of the Foreign Relations and EU Affairs Committee of the Polish Parliament, after the meeting with the President of Georgia.

According to him, there are two ways for Georgia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine and Estonia, "either to Europe or to fall into the hands of Russia".

"When the ruling party asks us today what gives you the right to be here, we will answer - I was here with President Kaczynski when Tbilisi was in danger. I organized this visit as Secretary of State. We came here when Tbilisi was under direct threat and pressure from the Russian invasion. I stood in this city when this city was under Russian threat. I am here now because Tbilisi is still under Russian threat. This threat may not be as pronounced, the tanks are not (but they are several kilometers away), but the country is in danger because of Russian propaganda, because of Russian-style politics.

Before the Georgian people, as well as before the Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Ukrainian and Estonian people, there were two ways, either to Europe or to fall into the hands of Russia. There is no other way, that's why we are here. We are here because of our sympathy for Georgia, which can also be called love," Michał Kamiński said.
