Tina Bokuchava: We refuse to receive mandates as a result of the parliamentary elections, where total fraud took place - CEC does not have the right to send our documents to the Parliament for recognition of authority

We refuse to receive mandates as a result of the Parliamentary elections, where total fraud took place, - said the leader of "Unity-National Movement", Tina Bokuchava at the briefing held today.

As she noted, the CEC has no right to send the documents of the members of the "Unity-National Movement" to the Parliament in order to recognize the authority.

"On the day of the elections, it was clear that the said elections did not reflect the free will of the citizens of Georgia. On behalf of the "Unity - National" movement, we have declared that we do not recognize the legitimacy of these elections and we refuse the parliamentary mandates.

Today, each of us who was on the parliamentary list of "Unity-National Movement" would like to write an individual letter to the Central Election Commission, so that no candidate will be registered in the name of "Unity-National Movement" and the Central Election Commission will not transfer the issue of our authority to the Parliament of Georgia, even to discuss.

The letters we send to the Central Election Commission are an expression of our free will. We request that none of us, none of the persons who appeared in the parliamentary electoral list of the "Unity-National Movement", be given a temporary mandate, we are not registered, and accordingly, our names and surnames are not sent to the parliament in order to recognize our authority. This is our free will and we confirm this free will with our signature. We refuse to receive mandates as a result of the parliamentary elections, where there was a total fraud, where the most important principle of the constitution was violated in the form of secrecy, and therefore, the free will of the Georgian people was not expressed; where many other machinations and mass violations took place, the consequences of which are not recognized by the civilized world. We saw this among them yesterday, when the European friends of Georgia were here and addressed the Georgian people, whom the representative of the government did not even meet. Their visit confirms once again that illegitimate elections will not be recognized by the civilized world; It will not be recognized by the opposition and we, with our signature, once again confirm that the CEC does not have the right to send our documents to the Parliament for recognition of authority.

For information, the decision to remove the parliamentary list was made by another opposition coalition, the "For Changes" coalition.
