Nika Gvaramia: All of us on the electoral list refuse to cooperate with the regime in any form - the Parliament is illegitimate and our participation in this Parliament is excluded

All of us on this [election] list refuse to cooperate in any way with the regime that steals elections and expresses the interests of the Russian Federation in our homeland, - one of the leaders of the "Coalition for Change", Nika Gvaramia, said at a briefing.

According to him, the Parliament is illegitimate, therefore, participation in this Parliament is considered complicity in illegitimate actions.

"Unfortunately, the elections are still stolen, but I want to assure the public that it is impossible for "Georgian Dream" to seize the government. This "success" of theirs is temporary, the victory of the Georgian people is inevitable, and we pledge that we will return the vote to the Georgian people and we will return everything to the homeland together. Parliament is illegitimate, therefore, we consider participation in this Parliament as complicity in illegitimate actions. This is the position and decision of our coalition, which we will inform you about.

The list of the coalition was 82 people, today we don't have Ana Kartlelishvili here. As a result of that tragic accident, she is in a serious condition and is in the hospital, Khatuna Samnidze is not there due to her health condition, but we have her signed document, and also, the chairman of our political council, Tengo Tevzadze, who is being questioned in court in connection with election fraud, is not there.

At the same time, Nika Gvaramia read the last paragraph of the statement: "I am writing to you with a statement - Coalition for Change - Gvaramia, Melia, "Girchi", "Droa", member of the party list, do not register me, Nana Malashkhia, as an elected member of Parliament and do not issue me a temporary certificate about being elected as a member of the Parliament of Georgia".

As Gvaramia explained, this is a legally correct statement, but it is expected that the CEC and the Parliament of Georgia will start making illegal decisions.

At this stage, we sign this application completely properly, thereby confirming that the Parliament is illegitimate and our participation in this Parliament is excluded.
