Anna Buchukuri on the removing of the lists: such populist initiatives on the part of the old and new "National Movement" will cause voter disappointment - what the law does not foresee

Unfortunately, such populist initiatives on the part of the old and new "National Movement" will lead to additional disappointment of the voter - Ana Buchukuri, a member of the "Gakharia for Georgia" party, told "InterpressNews" thus evaluated the appeal of "Unity of the National Movement" and "Coalition for Change" to the CEC in order to cancel the lists.

According to her, such an immature play cannot affect the decision of her party.

As Buchukuri notes, the position of the party "Gakharia for Georgia" is unchanged and the Parliament of the 11th convocation will not have legitimacy from their side.

Such populist initiatives from both wings of the "National Movement", that is, from the old and new "National Movement", will unfortunately lead to additional disappointment of voters, for the simple reason that the law does not provide for such a possibility. Of course, from our side, we listen to our voters, respect them and consistently follow our plan. Therefore, no such immature spectacle can influence us and our decision. "We have publicly said more than once, and I will repeat it now, that this Parliament will not have our legitimacy," Buchukuri said.

For information, "Unity - National Movement" and "Coalition for Change" are applying to the Central Election Commission to cancel the lists. Relevant statements were made by the leaders of the parties.
