Ana Dolidze: We will not enter this Parliament - we will do everything legally, we have already written statements for a long time, but today we will not go where they will tell us: "Sorry, there are no working hours!"

It will be possible to download the lists after the authority of the Parliament is known, after that we will do everything legally - today we will not go where they tell us, sorry, there are no working hours - Ana Dolidze, one of the leaders of "Strong Georgia", said.

As Dolidze said when speaking about the non-entry of "Strong Georgia" into the Parliament, the party's goal is not only not to enter the parliament, but also to not hold the first session of the parliament of the eleventh convocation at all.

"Of course, we are going to cancel the parliamentary lists, and we have said so. "Strong Georgia" is a coalition that includes 4 parties: "Party for the People", "Lelo", "Freedom Square" and "Citizens". All the leaders have made this statement separately. I am forced to explain what is happening today, what we are dealing with, and I am forced to give citizens a short course on legal issues. Citizens deserve to say - we will not enter this parliament and we will not give this parliament the ability to act.

In addition, our task is not to make this meeting common. Why are we on the street? We have been blocking the streets for 2 weeks, not all of them, we are blocking the streets because we do not want this session to be held at all. We will try with all our might to prevent the meeting from taking place", Dolidze said.

As she explains, it will be possible to close the lists when the authority of the Parliament is known, and all the statements made before that, according to Dolidze, are symbolic political statements.

"When it comes to termination of authority and canceling of lists, these are different things. Both can happen only when the right-capacity of the parliament is known. Article 120 of the Election Code. Forgive me, those who did not want to pass the law school. Everything that is done before, such statements are symbolic political statements.

How many times will someone think - "Well, make a statement!"... It will be possible to suppress the lists after the authority of the Parliament is known, after that we will do everything legally. We have already written statements for a long time. Today we will not go there, where they will tell us that, sorry, there are no working hours", said Ana Dolidze.

In addition, Dolidze, while talking about the action strategy of the opposition, noted that their main task is to prevent the preparation of the summary minutes of the Central Committee of the Central Election Commission, and the parliament's session is not a result.

"Our interim task is to prevent the preparation of the summary minutes of the CEC. The protest movement is working to do just that. The second intermediate task is the session of the Parliament of Georgia with no results, we are doing all this through peaceful resistance. After that, regardless of what happens, our fight continues. This is a pro-European movement, the apotheosis is the liberation of Georgia and its entry into the European Union", said Dolidze.
