According to Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of "Strong Georgia", the confiscation of voter verification machines and election documents by the prosecutor's office raises reasonable doubts that "the traces of crime are being covered up".

As Khazaradze writes on "Facebook", these devices and documents contain unmistakable information that confirms "systemic crime related to the unprecedented falsification of elections".

"Immediately after the falsification of the October 26 elections, "Strong Georgia" officially appealed to the CEC regarding the opening of voter verification receipts in order to make a comparison between the lists and the names registered in the verification machine.

We made this request in all 73 districts of Georgia, from which we received a refusal. We appealed the election administration's refusal in the courts of first instance, as well as in the appellate court. After that, we appealed the summary elections by all 73 districts to the CEC, and the CEC's refusal to the Tbilisi City Court.

Today we finally appealed to the Court of Appeal. The CEC has started an investigation of the Prosecutor's Office regarding the alleged election fraud, which is why political leaders are being questioned. In fact, it happened because the prosecutor's office seized all the equipment and election documents, which it did and sealed in a special warehouse. In these devices and documents there is unmistakable information that proves the systemic crime of unprecedented election fraud. There is a reasonable suspicion that a crime is being covered up.

I repeat once again - this election is hijacked! This parliament is illegitimate! We demand new elections!" Mamuka Khazaradze said.

For information, according to the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia, the voter verification machines used in the parliamentary elections were sealed "in order to ensure the security of the information on them".

According to the information of the prosecutor's office, since the investigation established that the verification devices work using complex computer programs, which were technologically and software provided by the company licensed in America - "Smartmatic", information retrieval from the verification devices and further expert studies will be carried out with the involvement of the said company.
