In parallel with the session, citizens are gathering in the vicinity of the building of the Central Election Commission.
The participants of the rally are protesting the results of the parliamentary elections held on October 26.
At the same time, a meeting is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. in the CEC, where, according to the agenda published by the CEC, one of the issues is the summary of the results of the parliamentary elections of October 26, 2024.
As the participants of the rally say, it is important that the session in the CEC be held in the background of maximum discomfort, since they do not recognize the results of the elections and talk about the illegitimacy of the elections.
There are members and supporters of "Unity National Movement", "Strong Georgia" and "Coalition for Change", as well as members of various movements and civil activists.
"Citizens standing here are protecting the future of the country, from the government that hijacked the elections and erected 3-4 meter iron fences around all agencies. The government, which is not going to spoil anything, does not need such big fences to defend itself from citizens", said Irakli Kupradze.
Several dozens of police officers are mobilized in the vicinity of the CEC.
