Giorgi Sioridze, a member of "Strong Georgia" and Boris Solomonia, a representative of "Girchi", left the session of the Central Election Commission, where the parliamentary elections were summarized.
The fact was preceded by a confrontation - this time the CEC chairman Giorgi Kalandarishvili and CEC member Giorgi Sioridze confronted each other.
The dispute was followed by Sioridze's statement, where he called the chairman of the CEC a notary of the "Georgian Dream" and also said that the events that are happening today were planned by the CEC and that is why they built a fence near the administration yard.
Kalandarishvili cut off the microphone of the oppositionist and told him that infrastructure projects are not related to their agenda.
According to Sioridze, the CEC will still take the decision "whatever directive it has from the 'Georgian dream', about which Kalandarishvili said that the public is misleading him. Finally, Sioridze left the meeting and addressed Kalandarishvili like this before leaving the hall: "I don't think you are smiling at all, Mr. Giorgi , you have a short laugh."
"We have one issue on the agenda, which involves summarizing the results of October 26. The results that were announced long before. When we all saw that the principle of secrecy was violated for 90% of our voters in 2263 precincts. Consequently, the constitutional principle of secrecy and freedom of elections is violated. This is the basis for CEC to keep its face now. to declare the elections not held and as a result of not holding, re-elections should be scheduled in 2 months. This would be the only correct legal and fair decision. Instead, you want to put a stamp on the numbers provided by "Georgian Dream". It will be very bad for you, for everyone. I raise this issue, and instead of doing what I am talking about, you want to act as a notary public of the "Georgian Dream". Mr. Giorgi, you wanted to go down in history and you will go down, but you will go down not by conducting the kind of elections you were talking about, but by saying: don't repeat these points. These points were the very thing that deprived these elections of any legitimacy. Because of these points, you will go to the polls with a black spot, as it was on the other side of the ballot. But it's not just you, Mr. Giorgi, it's everyone. I'm sorry about that because you did everything to prepare for today. At one time, when we were talking, I said why do we want this fence. It is an infrastructural project, you said. You made this fence because you knew exactly what you were going to do," said Sioridze.
In addition, he called Kalandarishvili an illegitimate chairman.
"You are trying to seal such an illegitimate election, as you have been an illegitimate chairman for so long. Because of you, they changed the law, hindered Georgia's European integration, in order to get today's result. Whatever price you order for "Georgian Dream", you return all this," said Sioridze.
As for Kalandarishvili's statement, he called Giorgi Sioridze's actions with the media a joke.
"There is a summary protocol on the agenda. Do not interfere with the work of the commission. We will discuss the summary protocol and talk about the fence and infrastructure projects. You want it to be so, but society sees everything clearly. You don't even trust yourself. You don't trust the court, you don't trust the election administration, what will you shout? I heard that you are talking to the media, but your microphone is turned off," Kalandarishvili said.
CEC Secretary Giorgi Javakhishvili also got involved in the verbal confrontation. He addressed Sioridze in this way: "I'm sorry that we are not notaries of merchants. We know more than you think. We have many acquaintances. Tasks, directives, orders and raising ears in your parties.
