There is still noise near the house of the CEC chairman, Giorgi Kalandarishvili, where civil activists came to protest. The police are mobilized on the spot.
The law enforcers tried to move the activists a few meters away from Giorgi Kalandarishvili's house, at which time a clash took place between the police and the activists.
During the physical confrontation, one of the activists became incapacitated.
According to Goga Memanishvili, the deputy head of the Tbilisi Main Division of the Patrol Police Department, the activists insulted the local residents, which is why they decided to evict them from the area.
"They enter into a confrontation with the residents here. We took them out and they used to verbally abuse them. The participants of the rally are verbally insulting the residents here. Accordingly, so that the situation does not become tense, so that there is no physical and verbal conflict between them, we called on them to move down a few meters," said Memanishvili.
