Russian law enforcement officers have announced an international search for the former Minister of Defense of Georgia, Davit Kezerashvili, who has been charged in absentia for large-scale fraud, Russian media reports.

Davit Kezerashvili has been entered into the wanted database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, he is wanted internationally on charges of committing a crime under Article 159, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud on a particularly large scale). In addition, the court of the capital chose to imprison him in absentia as a preventive measure," the source said in a conversation with the media.
