The Council of Foreign Affairs of the European Union will discuss the issue of Georgia on November 18

On November 18, the Council of Foreign Affairs of the European Union will discuss the current situation in Georgia against the background of the parliamentary elections held on October 26.

The Foreign Affairs Council will start in Brussels on November 18 at 9:30 local time and will be chaired by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.

According to the Council's agenda, EU foreign ministers will discuss Russia's aggression against Ukraine - the EU's response to Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.

In addition, the ministers will discuss EU-US relations. In particular, EU ministers are likely to discuss transatlantic relations with the November 5 US presidential election in mind.

Also, the topic of discussion will be the situation in the Middle East. The Council will hold a discussion on recent events in the Middle East.
