Giorgi Vashadze: We fully share the position of the president, the country is ruled by self-styled people, the fight will be until the end - the protest should spread to Georgia

Georgia is ruled by self-styled people, therefore, it will be a fight until the end for you to win, Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of "Unity - National Movement", said during his speech at the protest rally on Chavchavadze Avenue.

According to Vashadze, the protesters will spend the night in the streets tonight.

"We fully share the position of the president - the elections are not recognized either inside the country or outside the country, neither by the president of Georgia, nor by the opposition. Georgia is ruled by self-styled people, therefore, it will be a fight to the end so that you - the Georgian people - will win, and know that we will always take every step with great responsibility. Not an easy decision to make, but as said here, we are citizens of this country just like you and we are very careful about your trust. We make this decision to stay here today together. Also, we will have to make other types of decisions, which we will inform you about from time to time.

I want to address the people who are looking at us now - friends, in your homes, around you, I want to create the symbolism that expresses this protest - the black spot that signifies the "Georgian dream". Slowly this protest should spread all over Georgia. The power is in unity, the power is in the people, the power is in you and in the end we will surely win this battle. Today we all have breakfast together!" Giorgi Vashadze said.
