Tina Bokuchava: Next week, the European Parliament will adopt a resolution in which the non-recognition of the elections and the importance of the investigation will be discussed - the decision regarding the investigation has already been made

The hijacked elections will not have international recognition - this is the basis for calling for re-elections, Tina Bokuchava, the chairman of "Unity-National Movement", said while in Brussels.

According to Bokuchava, she had meetings with the MEPs, where they discussed the issue related to the "hijacked elections" of October 26.

As the chairperson of the party notes, next week the European Parliament will adopt a resolution on Georgia, where the non-recognition of the elections and the importance of its investigation will be discussed.

"Today is a very important day in the European Parliament. 1,000 days have passed since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. President Zelenskyy addresses the MEPs. We had meetings with MEPs since morning, we discussed the hijacked elections of October 26. Next week there will also be a European Parliament resolution on Georgia, where the non-recognition of the elections and the importance of the investigation will be discussed. The decision regarding the investigation has already been made. We had conversations in the European Commission, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, directly with the foreign ministers who made the decision. So it's an important moment here in Brussels, in the European Parliament. It is a fact that the hijacked elections of October 26 will not have international recognition, which is the basis for holding re-elections", said Tina Bokuchava.

According to the press service of the party, Bokuchava is meeting with the foreign ministers of the member states of the European Union.
