The Parliament of Georgia issues a statement on additional security measures.

In particular, on November 25, the day of the convocation of the Parliament of the Republic of Georgia, the yellow security level will be in effect in the Palace of the Parliament of Georgia - visitors will be restricted from entering the Palace of the Parliament.

According to the order of the Chairman of the Parliament, no more than two accredited groups of TV broadcasters/telemedia outlets from each broadcaster will be allowed into the building until the end of parliamentary events.

In accordance with the order of the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia dated September 4, 2023 N1/259/23 "On Approval of the Rules for Security Protection in the Palace of the Parliament of Georgia", on November 25 of this year, the yellow security level will be in effect in the Palace of the Parliament of Georgia - visitors will be restricted from entering the Palace of the Parliament.

Only persons invited by the relevant structural units will be allowed to attend planned parliamentary events (including committee and plenary sessions).

No more than two accredited groups of broadcasters/media outlets from each broadcaster will be allowed into the building until the end of parliamentary events.

The purpose of this measure is to ensure a safe and secure working environment in the Palace of the Parliament of Georgia,” the statement said.
