According to Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of the "Unity National Movement", he has officially appealed to the Parliament to terminate his mandate as a deputy.

As Vashadze stated at the current rally at the legislative body, he did not discuss this issue with his colleagues, although he is sure that other oppositionists will do the same.

"Personally, I have already sent a statement to this self-styled body, which they call the parliament, and I immediately demand that my mandate be terminated. I immediately request that they make a decision to cancel all my contact with them. I will have nothing to do with this self-styled group. I will be with you until the end so that we can win. I'm sure my colleagues will do the same, I'm just here and I'll address you from here", said Giorgi Vashadze.
