Tina Bokuchava: Negotiations on the European Parliament's resolution regarding the hijacked elections in Georgia are starting in Strasbourg - the resolution is an important basis for holding re-elections

Negotiations on the European Parliament's resolution regarding Georgia will begin in Strasbourg, which will naturally concern the October 26 hijacked elections. This resolution is another important tool for delegitimization of elections, which is the basis for holding re-elections, Tina Bokuchava, the chairman of "Unity-National Movement", said about this.

According to Tina Bokuchava, the goal now is to maintain the policy of not recognizing the election results, which did not reflect the will of the Georgian people.

"In approximately one hour, negotiations on the European Parliament's resolution on Georgia will begin in Strasbourg, which will, of course, concern the October 26 hijacked elections. I was still working on this resolution last week in Brussels with our European partners. The goal, naturally, is to maintain the policy of not recognizing the election results, which did not reflect the free will of the Georgian people. This is another important tool for delegitimizing the elections, thus delegitimizing the self-styled parliament and the government formed by it, which is the basis for holding re-elections that will be conducted by a free and professional election administration that will reflect the free will of the Georgian people and give us the opportunity to regain our European perspective," said Tina Bokuchava.
