After the intensive use of gas capsules by the riot police, the participants of the demonstration periodically leave Rustaveli Avenue and the surrounding area, but eventually return. Accordingly, despite the demonstration being dispersed more than once and Rustaveli Avenue being cleared more than once, in the end, the demonstrators still remain on the central avenue of the capital.

Various police units, including a special forces unit, are still mobilized on the scene.

The protesters have erected barricades on several sections of Rustaveli Avenue, which they have set up using so-called long benches, scooters, garbage cans and various other items.
