According to Nika Gvaramia, the leader of "Coalition for Change", after the arrest, the whereabouts of Zurab Japaridze are being determined until now and they will act as usual, the party would act in case of the arrest of its leader.

As Gvaramia writes on the social network, everyone is ready for arrest and "any other form of illegality".

"All of you probably heard that along with many patriots of different ages, our leader Zura Japaridze was also arrested. We are still trying to locate him. The coalition will make a statement on this and act as the party would normally act in case of its leader's arrest.

But I will say here that all politicians know what battle we are all involved in and who we are fighting. That's why we are all ready, including arrests and any other form of illegality. Obviously, so is Zura.

In the coalition, we maintain our strength and try to help all detained patriots. That is, we behave as Zura herself behaves in such situations.

For information, Zurab Girchi Japaridze was arrested on Chavchavadze avenue this morning. The arrest was preceded by a confrontation between police forces and protesters.
