Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze met with the British Ambassador to Georgia

The leaders of the “Strong Georgia” coalition, Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze, met with the British Ambassador to Georgia, Gareth Ward.

As Badri Japaridze stated after the meeting, the main topic of discussion with the ambassador was the importance of Britain’s support for Georgia and the Georgian people.

“I can not tell you the details of the conversation, Great Britain is a very important international actor, whose position is very important, therefore, Great Britain’s support is important for Georgia and the Georgian people. We talked about this and provided the information that we have, we talked about the information that they have regarding the elections. The conversation also touched on the fact that the partnership that Great Britain has with Georgia will definitely continue and the support of the people will not stop. Of course, we want to continue the partnership that has been established over the years. The Georgian people and state need the support of Great Britain. Great Britain has made a huge investment in Georgia, in building our democracy, which is now under enormous pressure through the "Georgian Dream". The main thing now is not to fulfill the goal of the Georgian Dream, which is to isolate Georgia," said Badri Japaridze.
