Ministry of Education: It is unacceptable for specific individuals to deliberately try to disrupt the educational process and involve children in political processes

The processes that are currently taking place in educational institutions are unacceptable for us - the statement of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth says about this.

According to the Ministry, specific individuals are putting pressure on schools - they invade the territory of educational institutions and call the directorate, teachers and students to go on strike, stir up quarrels between young people.

As stated in the statement, deliberate attempts by specific individuals to disrupt the educational process, as well as the involvement of children in political processes, are unacceptable.

"We echo the campaign of psychological bullying against schoolchildren, teachers and the entire school community, which has been going on for the last few days through social networks and some media outlets. The processes that are happening now in educational institutions are unacceptable for us.

We would like to inform the public that certain individuals are putting pressure on schools - they are encroaching on the territory of educational institutions and calling the directorate, teachers and students to strike, stirring up quarrels among young people. Such action violates the constitutional right of minors to receive general education and creates the ground for a violent environment.

Today, it is especially important for the educational process to run smoothly in schools to ensure access to education for students and to protect the safety, rights and interests of each child.

All students are equally important to us. Deliberate attempts by specific individuals to disrupt the educational process, as well as the involvement of children in political processes, are unacceptable.

The basic principle of protection of the child's rights is the consideration of the child's best interest. The mentioned principle obliges all persons to protect the welfare, safety, health, education, development, public, moral and other interests of the child. It is our commitment to ensure that children are educated in a safe, non-discriminatory environment where they will not be subjected to any form of psychological pressure.

That is why, in order to effectively protect the rights of each child and take into account their best interests, I call on all of you: do not violate the rights of students, do not prevent the functioning of schools and the normal conduct of the teaching process", the statement issued by the Ministry of Education says.
