Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic: Georgia is moving away from the European path, but Georgians should not lose sight of the European future - any kind of violence against demonstrators is unacceptable

I spoke to the former ambassador of Georgia to the Czech Republic a few hours ago and expressed my personal support, - Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský told journalists in Brussels before the meeting of NATO foreign ministers.

"I am sorry to hear about the resignation of the Georgian ambassador to the Czech Republic today. I spoke to him a few hours ago and expressed my personal support. The reason is that Georgia is moving away from the European path, but we Georgians should not lose sight of the European future, and also, any kind of violence against the demonstrators is unacceptable," said the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs.

We remind you that yesterday it became known that the Ambassador of Georgia to the Czech Republic, Tea Maisuradze, resigned.
