Nika Gvaramia has been transferred to the city's main department

The leader of the Coalition for Change, Nika Gvaramia, has been transferred to the city's main office.

Lawyer Dimitri Sadzaghlishvili is currently visiting him. The lawyer does not know what Gvaramia's health condition is or whether he was physically assaulted.

For your information, law enforcement officers administratively detained Nika Gvaramia near the office of the Droa party, where the police were conducting a search.

The incident was preceded by a verbal and physical confrontation. More specifically, the altercation resulted from Gvaramia's request to be allowed into the office as a representative to observe the search, which the police representatives did not allow him to do. The law enforcement officers told him that investigative actions had already begun, that a representative was also on site, and "in case of interference, they will act in accordance with the law."
