The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested Aleko Elisashvili, one of the leaders of the political union "Strong Georgia".

He was arrested near the Courtyard Marriott hotel.

"After the meeting of the opposition parties, provocateurs were mobilized near the hotel. The so-called Titushkas, although no one understood their provocation. Aleko Elisashvili came out completely calmly, at which time a group of special forces came to him and dragged him away using force," Tamar Gedevanishvili, the representative of the press service of the "Citizens" party, told "InterpressNews".
