Nana Malashkhia, one of the leaders of "Coalition for Change", was recognized by the Tbilisi City Court as an administrative offender and imposed a fine of 500 GEL.
On November 17, Nana Malashkhia was disputing the blocking of the road at the ongoing rally at TSU.
As Malashkhia said after the session, despite today's decision of the court, she is not going to take any step back.
"To be honest, I didn't think that the judge was in the courtroom because I usually thought he was a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Yes, two representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were in the hall. What is the point of this? I was a victim of physical violence. I don't know what they are going to do. I don't know what these people think, something will stop me or other people who are being subjected to more brutal forms of legal and physical retribution. We live in an incredible reality, sometimes I think I'm watching some kind of horror movie, but we will finish this movie because we are not going to back down, neither I, nor my teammates, nor the people", said Nana Malashkhia, noting that she is more motivated to , to participate in "the end of the Russian regime".
It should be reminded that a rally was held in Tbilisi for several days demanding re-election, including a rally on Melikishvili Avenue, near TSU. During the rally, the road was blocked several times, and in one of the cases, Nana Malashkhia was recognized by the court as an administrative offender.
