The propagandists of the reedited video spread the lie, as if calling the police to crush the protesters - they crossed all limits and tried to mislead the public, such "fakes" are full of "absurd" propaganda", - said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze on a Facebook post.
Kaladze called the video spread on social networks a complete lie and misinformation, which, according to him, has been distorted and edited.
"The edited video is being spread by propagandists of lies who are hiding the truth from the public. I will show you how the video is edited, as if I am calling the police to break the protesters to the bone. Actually, in response to the question posed by the media, I am saying the following: "Do you want someone in some European country to talk to a police officer in America, as some participants of the rally did yesterday. Look at what he was doing, they will break him to the bone." This video is hacked.
You can see what they are shooting. They have crossed all limits and are trying to mislead the public. "Fake" propaganda is saturated with such "fakes". I think everything is clear. We will not allow anyone to oppose society, use young people for their own purposes and directly sacrifice them, in the full meaning of this word. They themselves were snuggled up in warm offices, they ate hot coffee-tea, hot chocolate, and they put young people on the front line, urging them to commit violence. This is categorically unacceptable. I want to ask you young people not to allow these stateless agents to use you", said Kakha Kaladze.
