Prosecutor's Office of Georgia filed charges against 6 people for participating in group violence.

According to the information of the General Prosecutor's Office, the investigation conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs established that during the rally on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, the defendants actively participated in group violence, as a result of which many people suffered health damage.

"The property of both individuals and legal entities was damaged and destroyed, including the infrastructure on the balance sheet of Tbilisi City Hall.

The accused were charged under the second part of Article 225 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for 4 to 6 years of imprisonment.

The prosecutor's office applies to the court with a motion to impose a preventive measure on the defendants within the time limit set by the law.

The investigation of the criminal case in the Ministry of Internal Affairs is continuing", the information released by the agency says.
