Pediatrician and member of the "Jiuti" movement, Kote Chakhunashvili, was detained. As "InterpressNews" was told by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Chakhunashvili was detained by law enforcement officers under administrative procedure under the article "Disobedience to a lawful request of the police."

Earlier, information was spread that Kote Chakhunashvili's car was found empty by his friends at 69 Nutsubidze Street. According to relatives, he left the house alone at approximately 20:00 and has not been contacted since then.

For information, it was previously reported that police officers came to Kote Chakhunashvili and summoned him for questioning in a criminal case that was not specified, but Chakhunashvili refused to come for questioning.
