State Security Service: the organizers of destructive and criminal activities plan not to hold presidential elections on December 14 - crime organizers are considering intensifying the situation as much as possible, which should result in 2-3 victims

The organizers of destructive and criminal activities are planning to prevent the election process of the President of Georgia on December 14, 2024 - for this purpose, the crime organizers are considering intensifying the situation as much as possible, which should result in 2-3 victims, - it is mentioned in the statement of the State Security Service.

The State Security Service urges the population to exercise maximum caution in order not to become a participant or victim of a criminal plan, and to try to detect any suspicious situation or attempted provocation using the various technical means available to them and immediately contact the relevant law enforcement authorities.

"In the interests of state security and peaceful coexistence of citizens, we shared the materials obtained by the investigation on the case of the violent overthrow of the state government, which is ongoing in the state security service, with the public many times in the past.

I would like to inform you that as soon as the protest charge of the actions taking place near the parliament building in Tbilisi city decreases, a certain group of local actors implementing a criminal plan is activated, whose goal is to artificially increase the protest charge in the population, which, in their opinion, should be used to overthrow the government by violent means. A clear proof of this is, in parallel with the overwhelming protest charge, the frequent acts of violence against law enforcement officers and civilians by carefully disguised persons, both at the protest locations and beyond. The attack on the journalists of one of the television stations is particularly noteworthy, which we consider to be one of the probable episodes of the said criminal plan, which fortunately ended without victims. The current case is being investigated by the Special Investigation Service. Here we declare our readiness to actively cooperate with the said service in order to determine the objective truth in the case in the shortest possible time.

According to the received information, the organizers of the mentioned destructive and criminal actions are planning to prevent the election process of the President of Georgia on December 14, 2024 and prevent the election of the sixth President of Georgia in every way, which will artificially lead to an official crisis. For this purpose, the organizers of the crime are considering, especially on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the current week, as well as partly on Friday, to intensify the situation as much as possible, which should result in 2-3 victims. With the mentioned sacrifice, they will try to increase the protest charge, to encourage radical attitudes, which according to their intention should turn into uncontrolled processes, and to accuse the government in a disguised way.

Implementation of the mentioned processes is ensured by local actors, with the coordination of special services of foreign countries. The current plan follows tried-and-tested scenarios typical of so-called "color revolutions", including various ritual scenes and gradual destruction, culminating in the killing of civilians, which will contribute to the escalation of events as a whole.

This is confirmed in recent days by the facts of damage to external surveillance cameras by masked destructive groups, both in the protest area and in the surrounding areas, which serves the sole purpose of making it difficult to identify the perpetrators of criminal acts.

We urge the population to exercise maximum caution so as not to become a participant or victim of a criminal plan. At the same time, within the framework of protecting personal security, they should try to detect any suspicious situation or attempt at provocation with the various technical means at their disposal and immediately contact the relevant law enforcement authorities," the statement said.
