Employees in the public sector are holding a protest march and will join the rally on Rustaveli Avenue

Public sector employees are gathered in Republic Square.

People employed in the public sector are marching towards the parliament building, where the continuous protest has been going on for the 14th day.

They respond to current events in the country and protest the current situation in the public sector.

"There are two reasons for our gathering: one is the current process that is happening in the country, the rejection of the membership application until 2028. Second, responding to forms of intimidation, we are people employed in the public service, and the purpose of our march is to convey our voice to the public, including those who represent our employers today, that we remain loyal to the Constitution and society, we remain loyal to the European course. At the same time, we call on them to stop violence against us, use of various forms of intimidation, which have been numerous recently", said Giga Sopromadze, an employee of the City Hall.
